Clash of the Worlds

"There has been a meteor siting. It seems as though it's gone right through the o-zone layer and is coming towards Earth at high speeds."
The news woman turns away from the camera and stares at her computer screen with wide eyes.
"What?!? This can't be! The o-zone layer will break! It seems as though there is more than one. At this rate, unless we conjure some sort of miracle, there is a good chance that the o-zone layer will collapse from all this pressure."
The camera starts to shake, people are running and screaming through the news room.
CRASH!!
The screen goes black.
THE BEGINNIING.

What am I doing here?
What is this place?
I remember falling, far from my home, from my family.
Where am I?
Looking around, Raine noticed that she was laying in what looked like a huge crater.
A crater?
She stood up sorely and walked up the side of the creavace.
People were screaming, city lights flashed, sirens rang loud.
"Is there anyone alive in there?!"
Looking up once again, she saw a human, not two feet above her.
A human.
Earth, I'm on Earth.
